Description: Addresses trauma-informed care and staff responses relevant for behavioral health providers working in community health centers. This CoP is interactive, and participants will have ongoing opportunities for peer-to-peer sharing and case-based learning.

Behavioral health professionals may earn 1 Continuing Education (CE) credit for attending each session, 8 CEs total (no cost to participant)!

Facilitators: Joe Hyde, MA, LMHC, CAS has more than 35 years of experience in substance use prevention, intervention, and treatment. In collaboration with SAMHSA and American Society of Addiction Medicine, he planned and conducted SAMHSA’s Physician Training for Use of Buprenorphine. He has worked with clinics and healthcare programs throughout the United States supporting behavioral health services integration in primary care. 

Laura Ross, MS, LMFT brings over 20 years’ experience directing clinical and administrative behavioral health care programming in a range of settings. Her expertise includes developing trauma-informed, client-centered, and evidence-based treatment programs for behavioral health integration.
