The JBS Team is a partnership between JBS International, Advocates for Human Potential, the Bizzell Group, and a panel of subject-matter experts. The goal of this initiative is to provide technical assistance (TA) in response to the specific needs of HRSA supported Health Centers. The technical assistance will build health center capacity to identify and intervene effectively with patients experiencing both mental health and/or substance use disorders (referred to jointly as “behavioral health”), with special attention given to the needs of patients at risk of or experiencing an opioid use disorder. TA services may be provided through a variety of TA strategies on topics such as implementing a specific model of integrated care, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder, pain management, screening, brief intervention and referral to treatment (SBIRT) services, tele-behavioral services, clinical workflow and informatics, workforce recruitment, care coordination and case management, service to system coordination, financial sustainability, quality improvement consultation, adoption of evidence-based practices (EBPs) for health care delivery, as well as TA to improve access to health care for medically underserved and vulnerable populations.
