Behavioral Health Integration Skills and Practices for HRSA Health Centers Community of Practice

Over a series of 8 (eight) 1.5 hour sessions, participants learned about the most current, best, and promising practices for effective integrated behavioral health care in primary care settings. Engage in active discussion with subject matter experts and health center peers around key concepts including multi-disciplinary teamwork, treatment to target, brief counseling techniques, behavioral health consultations, and care management. Participants are encouraged to bring questions to follow-up office hours for deeper discussion of clinical issues they are currently facing. The sessions are structured for an interactive environment where peers offer their experiences, suggestions, and provide support to one another.
