This webinar is the second session in a three-part series of the Documentation, Coding, and Billing for Behavioral Health Integration in Community Health. This session will focus on highlights of the CPT, HCPCS-II, and ICD-10-CM codes commonly used in behavioral health and shared with primary care. It will also discuss the treatment of substance/opioid use disorders through medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) in both primary care and behavioral health settings, and a list of sample CMS covered preventive services that integrate medical and behavioral health. Participants earn 0.5 Behavioral Health continuing education credits (CEUs) for attending this webinar. 

Gary Lucas, MS (Health Informatics), is Vice President of Research and Development for the Association for Rural and Community Health Professional Coding (ArchProCoding). His professional background includes 29+ years of experience training clinical providers, facility management, and coders/billers. Mr. Lucas has provided 1,900 nationwide educational sessions in 46 states on medical records documentation for MD/PA/NP/CP/CSW-led outpatient medical centers regarding professional coding, medical billing, Medicare compliance, and practice management.

Aylin Edelman, MD, RHIA, CCS, is a physician and credentialed health information management professional with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry as an administrator, manager, provider, and health information specialist. As a JBS Technical Assistance Specialist, Dr. Edelman provides expert guidance to health centers on health data quality, compliance standards, and reporting.
