Joseph Hyde, MA, LMHC, CAS is a Deputy Program Director at JBS International, Inc. and a widely recognized expert in primary and behavioral health care integration.He brings more than 35 years of experience in mental health and substance use prevention, intervention, and treatment in the primary care setting. In collaboration with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), he planned and conducted SAMHSA’s Physician Training for Use of Buprenorphine. He has worked with clinics and healthcare programs throughout the United States supporting behavioral health services integration in primary care.  

Laura Ross, MS, LMFT is a Technical Expert Lead for JBS International, Inc. and an experienced leader in Behavioral Healthcare for more than 20 years. She is a seasoned Project Director for state and federal grants serving under-resourced populations and marginalized communities through trauma-informed, client-centered, and evidence-based services. She developed and facilitated numerous training courses on mental health, substance use, suicide prevention and inclusive healthcare. She consults with organizations across the nation providing training and technical assistance for health centers integrating primary and behavioral healthcare.

"Partnering with Schools to Address Youth Mental Health"

This webinar will discuss how health centers can partner with schools to address mental health needs. It will provide an overview of establishing partnerships, discuss examples, and share resources from the Partnering with Schools to Improve Youth Mental Health initiative. This webinar will also cover the multi-tiered systems of support framework used in schools, and how health centers can adapt their programs to provide optimal support to schools. Adriane (Addie) Van Zwoll, MJ, MSW, LCSW has worked in the field of school-based health care (SBHC) at the local, state, and national levels since 2011. As a clinical social worker and manager of behavioral health services at a local SBHC, she provided direct clinical services and expanded behavioral health programming, including the introduction of alternative to suspension programs and a calm room. Addie also served on the Illinois School-Based Health Alliance Steering Committee for several years with a passion for working with adolescents and increasing access to mental health care.
